Plaza Mayor in Madrid.
One of the main streets leading out of Plaza del Sol - I really liked the decorations still up from the feria.
Inside the Cathedral of Madrid - it was very different from a lot of the others I've seen!
The Royal Palace - not too shabby!
Picasso's "Guernica" in the Reina Sofia - incredible to see first-hand.
They had an excellent exhibit of all of his sketches leading up to the final work - really neat to see!
Checking out the map while enjoying a Coke!
Standing in front of the vertical vegetation (used this as an example in my senior design project) and the facade of the Caixa Forum, a multi-use public space that was created inside an old power station.
The Royal Botanical Gardens in Madrid.
The line to get into the Prado Museum - the reason why we passed on by.
The symbol of Madrid, a bear snagging an apple from a tree - I don't really know the story behind it (yet) but it's pretty cool.
Neat ad in the Corte Ingles that incorporates Velasquez's "Las Meninas" - very well done!
